The Role
Manufacturing Operator/Process Worker – ideal minimum 2 years experience and interested to learn.
We offer opportunities to multi-skill across operations including machine operation, packing, warehouse, planning and logistics. You will work as part of a friendly team where your input and contribution will be valued. KFS focuses on training and education and provides opportunities to gain qualifications such as First Aid, Cert 2/3 in Food Processing, FL license, and Fire warden.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately completing production records and documentation
* Performing relevant quality checks
* Batching and preparation of ingredients
* Setting up production equipment and ensuring it is in good working order
* Manual handling and lifting
* Manually packing products into cartons
* Assisting with warehouse duties
* Adhering to food safety and GMP policies and procedures
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy working environment through regular cleaning of the processing area and equipment
The ideal applicant will be
* Reliable and punctual
* Willing to learn new skills and pursue further study and qualifications
* Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Capable of lifting up to 25kg
* Interested in working in a food manufacturing setting
* Available to work day or afternoon shift
Hours and Pay
* Expected hours: No less than 38 hours per week
* Pay: From $27.00 per hour
