**Finance Assistant (Remote, Brisbane)**
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and monitor the procurement and payment procedures for digital goods and services
- Evaluate and select digital vendors, negotiate contracts and ensure that vendors align with agreed terms and conditions
- Place orders for digital goods and services, ensuring timely delivery and accurate invoicing - Monitor inventory levels of digital goods and services to ensure that adequate supplies are available
- Ensure that all digital purchases and payments are in compliance with company policies and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all digital purchasing and payment transactions
- Reconcile invoices and resolve any discrepancies related to digital purchases and payments - Process payments for digital goods and services in a timely and accurate manner
- Liaise with internal team members and external digital suppliers to resolve any issues or disputes related to digital purchases and payments
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce procurement costs for digital goods and services
- Prepare reports on purchasing and payment activities related to digital goods and services as required
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Purchases and Payments Officer or similar role
- Familiarity with procurement regulations and standard processes for digital goods and services
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain vendor relationships for digital goods and services
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions for digital goods and services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office is required, experience with Xero accounting software would is desirable
