Your new role
* Configuration and Management: Configure and manage Cisco software (IOS-XR and IOS-XE) and hardware (NCS55xx, ASR1xxx, ASR99xx).
* Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
* Routing Protocols: Implement and maintain routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS to ensure efficient data flow.
* Network Upgrades: Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions to support business growth and new technologies.
* Documentation: Maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams to support operational and design activities.
* Radware Solutions: Deploy and manage Radware Anti-DDoS solutions to protect the network from attacks.
* Additional Tools: Utilize Akamai and Nsfocus solutions as needed to enhance network security.
* Incident Response: Respond to and mitigate DDoS attacks, ensuring minimal impact on network performance.
* Security Policies: Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard network infrastructure.
What you'll need to succeed
* Minimum of 3 years of operations experience.
* At least 2 years of design experience, producing LLDs and working under Network or Principal Architects.
* Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies.
* Proven experience with Anti-DDoS solutions, particularly Radware.
* Essential experience with Cisco.
* Essential skills in OSPF, BGP and MPLS
* Flexibility to handle after-hours work when necessary
