: The Long Service Leave Authority (ACT Leave) is a Statutory Authority of the ACT Government responsible for the administration of portable long service leave benefit schemes for covered industries within the ACT.
Under the direction of ACT Leave's Strategic Plan, we are in an exciting time of innovation and change, and with several major transformation projects in progress, strong corporate leadership will be essential.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Registrar, you will be responsible for:
* Progressing the establishment of a diverse corporate support function including (but not limited to) ICT, human resource management, marketing and communications, governance, and information and records management.
* Ensuring the successful delivery of a range of strategic projects (ICT and operational) either in train, or due to commence.
* Designing and leading best practice change management activities within ACT Leave.
* Identifying opportunity for, and promoting, continuous improvement in systems and processes.
* Deputising for the Chief Executive Officer and Registrar when required.

* Can solve problems effectively and creatively.
* Has extensive experience managing corporate support functions.
* Appreciates the importance of communicating well – particularly in writing.
* Is excited about playing an important role in transforming ACT Leave.

This position is available from 3 November 2025 until 30 October 2026 with the possibility of permanency. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Interviews are expected to take place at the end of September 2025.
