In this role, you'll:
Report to the Bridge Works Manager within our Road Maintenance & Resilience division and will be based at our office in Wagga Wagga. You will play a key role in leading the delivery of Bridge projects that make a real impact across the network. Your role will be focused on delivering the safe, efficient, and effective planning and execution of bridge projects, ensuring they meet all legislative, client, and customer requirements.
You will lead and inspire multi-disciplinary site teams to work safely, collaboratively, and with a strong customer focus. You'll be a driver of innovation, constantly looking for ways to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and resourcing methods. You'll also take the lead in administering and delivering contracts, acting as the representative on selected agreements.
Please note this is a Temporary Full Time hybrid role based in Waga Waga for up to 12 Months. Travel will be required to meet business deliverables.

About you
You have excellent practical delivery experience managing direct control and contract resources that will guide you and our teams to deliver and manage risks. You're a strong communicator and influential team player, capable of building key relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
You will have a four-year civil/structural engineering degree from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualifications. You have demonstrated experience in program preparation and budgeting for bridge and/or road construction and maintenance engineering works, as well as experience in contract management including documentation, tendering procedures, and contract administration.
