The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing project and bid strategies. You will do so by analyzing project proposals and historical cost data. Ultimately, your work will help us develop new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Deep understanding of Rail infrastructure, systems and processes to build/maintain assets in Victoria.
* Using best practice in estimating, R&O, major bids and any BAU functions that enables a major rail operator to operate.
* Leading bid meetings and develop and execute bid strategy
* Prepare thorough and timely cost analysis
* Analyze project proposals to prepare budget and cost estimate
* Lead Cost plans, development of proposals, update, and review historical cost data
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in QS, Engineering or related field of study
* Extensive estimating projects or relevant engineering experience in Victoria, 10+ years.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, estimating tools .
