Provide leadership, direction and management of Bvlgari Oceania's financial strategy in line with LVMH Guidelines on key initiatives to support the business's objectives. Oversee the direction of financial control & administrative, financial, fiscal and risk management operations, consolidation insight and analysis results.
Job responsibilities
Accounting and Monthly Closing Activities
* Oversee accounting team in the areas of Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Inter-Company Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation
* Maintain Fixed Asset Register;
* SYRUS reporting and controlling/ analysis report on Monthly performance to Corporate; including Budget/Revision1 and Revision2 cycles
* Lease accounting (IFRS 16)
* Cash flow projections
* Cash flow controls
* Internal controls and E&C
* Cost controls and optimisation of operations' spending on the day-2-day
* Administrator of procurement system (IVALUA)
Statutory Audit Related Activities
* Tracking Audit Schedules and confirmations to involve stakeholders if any;
* Management of Auditors' requests/ queries & Audited Accounts finalisation
Tax Related Activities
* GST reporting and filing;
* With-holding tax reporting and filing;
* Corporate Tax reporting and filing;
* Transfer Pricing documentation;
* Dividends management and repatriation
Administration
* Company Secretarial related activities - board resolution, filings/submissions in compliance with Company Act;
* Liaise with Legal on lease agreement terms and conditions;
* Review contracts with business vendors/partners and liaise with Legal where applicable;
* Liaise with IT & support functions for new store opening (SAP/POS, application/registration for licenses, etc
* Co-operate with IT and Corporate to implement new functionalities;
* Liaise on store leases and office related matters (eg rental, landlord negotiation, office space, administration, etc)
Work Health & Safety
* Ensure that the business remains WHS compliant.
* Provide all employees with WHS induction training and/or annual refresher training.
* Lead WHS Committee with quarterly meetings and follow up on action plans
* Manage end to end workplace near misses and reportable incidents, partnering with the team member and manager on appropriate return to work plans.
* Comply with WHS policies, procedures and programs implemented by Bulgari.
* Work in a manner that is safe and does not create risks to yourself or others.
* Report and assist to rectify hazards.
* Report incidents resulting in an injury and/or near miss.
* Participate in consultative arrangements.
* Comply with the duty to not endanger others by their acts or omissions
Profile
Provide leadership, direction and management of Bvlgari Oceania's financial strategy in line with LVMH Guidelines on key initiatives to support the business's objectives. * Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
* An uncompromising standard of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
* Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills
* Technology Savvy and SAP Experience
* A tertiary qualification relating to Accounting or business
* Experience with Group Reporting
* Experience with Tax compliance
* Adaptable to changing work environments/priorities
* Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
* A proactive approach to fulfilling key functions in order of priority and efficiency
* Ability to deal with ambiguity and work to resolving issues of complexity
* High attention to detail
