The Role
MSF Sugar is seeking a skilled and motivated Boilermaker to join our team on a fixed term, full-time basis at the South Johnstone Mill, located just 15 minutes from Innisfail.
In this role, you'll play a key part in the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of mill equipment, helping to ensure the safe and efficient running of our operations. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your trade skills in a well-established and supportive team environment within the sugar industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabrication and repair of mill equipment
* Welding, cutting, and shaping as required
* Routine inspections and preventative maintenance
* Ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures
What We're Looking For
* Be a fully trade qualified Boilermaker
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Be self-motivated with the ability to work well in a team
* Hold additional tickets/licences such as loader, forklift, dogger (advantageous)
* Have sugar milling experience and an understanding of milling operations (advantageous)
