The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly professional Executive Assistant and Project Officer to provide high-quality executive and operational support to the Whitlam Institute Director and to contribute to the effective delivery of the Whitlam Institute's work.
Acting on behalf of the Whitlam Institute, the role supports the delivery of multiple projects and events and requires the exercise of sound judgement, strict discretion, and maintaining professionalism, when liaising with senior stakeholders, partners, and staff at all levels.
The position works closely with the Manager, Whitlam Institute, and other team members, and is critical to the effective coordination and delivery of the Whitlam Institute's programs and activities.
This is a full-time, ongoing position, based at the Parramatta South campus, with onsite work requirement Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrated expertise in EA and/or project coordination roles
* Event coordination experience will be highly regarded
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a range of stakeholders, including dignitaries
* High level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and similar productivity platforms
* Sound financial administration skills, including experience with corporate credit card reconciliation and basic financial processes

Remuneration Package
HEW Level 6 $112,060 to $120,109 p.a. (comprising Salary of $95,777 to $102,659 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
