WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Nestled among 28 Hectares of premium McLaren Vale grapes, Vale Restaurant and Bar is a destination where exceptional food, world-class beverages, and unforgettable experiences come together.
As Restaurant Manager, you'll work closely with the Estate Manager to curate and deliver elevated hospitality experiences that celebrate South Australian excellence. Your leadership will help shape a destination that delights every guest, showcases our award-winning portfolio, and leaves a lasting impression.
KEY RESONSIBILITIES
* Create Exceptional Guest Experiences – Be the face of hospitality at Beresford Estate. Build genuine connections with visitors, anticipate their needs, and deliver warm, personal service that turns every interaction into a memorable moment.
* Be a Brand Storyteller – Inspire guests with the stories behind our craft. Share the heritage of Vale Brewing, Beresford Wines, and our premium spirits during tastings and tours, bringing the Estate's innovation and artistry to life.
* Curate Food & Beverage Journeys – Collaborate with our culinary and Tasting Pavillion teams to design seamless, seasonal food and beverage experiences that reflect local provenance and the Estate's commitment to quality.
* Craft and Innovate – Develop signature cocktails, introduce new tasting experiences, and lead the evolution of the beverage program, ensuring every offering reflects the creativity and excellence of the Beresford brand.
* Lead with Heart and Vision – Mentor, motivate, and inspire your front-of-house team to deliver impeccable service. Lead by example through professionalism, warmth, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Showcase the Estate – Support and elevate private events, weddings, and VIP tastings, ensuring every experience aligns with the premium positioning of Beresford Estate and the Vale Brewing Restaurant & Bar.
* Uphold Excellence in Presentation – Maintain the beauty and ambience of the restaurant and grounds, ensuring every detail—from table settings to lighting—enhances the guest experience.
* Champion Local Tourism – Partner with regional tourism bodies, tour operators, and accommodation providers to position Beresford Estate as a must-visit destination within McLaren Vale.
* Commit to Quality and Consistency – Manage operations with precision and care, from service standards to inventory and compliance, ensuring a smooth and exceptional guest journey every time.
* Flexibility and Dedication – Work across a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and evenings, to ensure the Estate shines during its busiest and most memorable moments.
