Location: Ballarat Central, VIC, AU, 3350 Job Category: Information Technology Employment Type: Fixed Term Full Time Standard Weekly Hours: Requisition ID: 3450 Fixed-Term Full-Time (12-month contract) | 40 Hours per week with a monthly ADO $42.33 per hour (HS4)

About the Role The Digital Health Capability and Skills Officer supports the design, delivery and continuous improvement of digital learning programs across Grampians Health. This role plays a key part in building practical digital capability for clinical, corporate and operational staff, with a strong focus on the adoption and safe, effective use of Microsoft 365 and core digital health technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, blended digital training (face‑to‑face, virtual and self‑paced) to support adoption of Microsoft 365 and other core digital health technologies.
* Develop and maintain practical, role‑based learning resources including learning pathways, quick reference guides and job aids.
* Partner with subject matter experts, system owners and project teams to ensure training reflects real‑world workflows and governance requirements.
* Contribute to cyber security awareness and organisation‑wide digital skills initiatives, embedding safe and compliant use of digital systems.
* Gather and analyse feedback and participation data to identify training needs and support continuous improvement of learning solutions.

Skills & Experience
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or willingness to work towards completion.
* Demonstrated experience delivering training, coaching or education programs, ideally in digital, ICT or system‑based environments.
* Experience developing learning materials such as user guides, job aids and instructional resources.
* Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical learning outcomes for diverse audiences.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clinical and non‑clinical staff.
* Experience in healthcare or the public sector is desirable.
