Duties
* Collect and analyse financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to gain insights into the financial health of the company
* Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future financial outcomes, perform sensitivity analysis, and evaluate various scenarios to support decision-making
* Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts, considering factors such as revenue projections, expenses, and market trends
* Support preparation of monthly management pack
* Present detailed monthly financial reports to managers
* Prepare feedback to AP Team on incorrect coding
* Lead preparation of weekly project cost tracker
* Update tax related paperwork for tax compliance lodgement
* Maintain and update financial models under supervision
* Assist real-time financial performance monitoring
* Escalate any financial issues to management
* Collaborates with senior members of the accounting and finance team
About you
* Experience within an analytical and reporting role within the Construction or similar industry is highly desired
* Ability to interpret and evaluate financial data, identify trends, and summarise quantitative and qualitative information
* Proficiency in financial software and tools such as spreadsheets, financial modelling software
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Completed or working toward CA or CPA
