THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift / Sideloader Operator to join team, on a full-time basis in Wingfield, SA. The candidate will perform Pick Packer responsibilities when not performing work on the forklift or sideloader.
This role places a strong focus on contributing to our vision of being fast, flexible and frequent, is 'hands-on', and incorporates the following tasks:
* Loading, unloading, receiving, relocating & storing products, with accuracy;
* Following warehouse traffic management plans;
* Manually picking and packing of orders;
* Miscellaneous warehouse labour tasks.
Key Competencies & Responsibilities:
* Comply with legislated & company WH&S systems;
* Ensure Load optimisation;
* Inspect & perform minor maintenance on machinery;
* Comply with all company policies & legal guidelines;
* Liaise professionally & politely with stakeholders;
* Accurate attention to detail, of information & data; and
* Undertake additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Current forklift ticket with min. 3 years of operational experience;
* Side-loader experience, well regarded;
* Strong working knowledge of WH&S legislation;
* Previous experience loading trucks with product, highly regarded;
* Demonstrated attention to detail with effective written & verbal communication;
* Collaborative interpersonal skills;
* Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF Scanners, is desirable;
* Familiarity with timber warehouse operations is desirable; and
* Evidenced reliability and professionalism.
