About the role
We are seeking an experienced Subcontractor Structural Retaining Wall Installer to join our team at All Fencing and Landscaping in South Brisbane. This is a contract position that will involve the installation of high-quality structural retaining walls using a range of materials and techniques. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional results for our clients.
What you'll be doing
* Interpret and follow technical drawings and specifications to install structural retaining walls to the required standards
* Safely operate specialised equipment and machinery required for retaining wall installation
* Ensure work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards
* Collaborate with the project manager and other tradespeople to coordinate workflow and overcome any challenges
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
* Provide detailed progress updates and communicate effectively with the client and wider project team
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Subcontractor Structural Retaining Wall Installer, with a strong understanding of relevant building codes and regulations
* Excellent knowledge of various retaining wall construction methods and materials, including concrete, masonry, and timber
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
* Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and specialised equipment required for retaining wall installation
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
* QBCC Contracts not required as we have a Company License (e.g. white card)
