Details: An exciting opportunity is available in the Pipeline Infrastructure and Electrification Branch (the PIE Branch) of Infrastructure Canberra at the Director (SOG B) level for a person who is able to lead the work of the Accountability and Reporting Team in the PIE Branch.
The Position will support the Senior Director, by establishing and socialising governance processes, practices and systems within the Branch relating to whole of government reporting, ministerial reporting, internal iCBR reporting.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and conceptual skills, the ability to conceptualise, plan for and effect processes. The successful candidate will also need high-level people skills and the ability to build capability and mentor staff to achieve outcomes.
The successful candidate will:
* Coordinate and oversight ministerial briefings and requests, including ministerial correspondence, QTBs and QoNs
* Coordinate meetings and papers for iCBR advisory committees and boards
* Plan and socialise the collection of branch data, undertaking data analytics and the development of KPIs
* Undertake Whole of Government reporting, including Accountability Indicators
* Oversee the allocation of new projects
* Oversee the provision of administrative support to procurement evaluation teams across the branch
* Oversight and provide quality assurance on briefs, reports and other written work.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Professional / Technical Skills and Knowledge
* Demonstrated experience in socialising, managing and maintaining governance frameworks within a program/project setting.
* Demonstrated high level leadership and management skills, including the ability to contribute positively to the team, develop and translate strategy into organisational goals and outcomes, mentor and develop a high performing team, and lead by example.
* A sound understanding or the ability to quickly acquire an understanding of data including demonstrated experience in Excel, Power Bi and/or other reporting software.
Behavioural Skills
* Interpersonal Skills and Inclusivity: Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills and inclusive behaviour to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, integrating their input into decision-making.

Notes: This is a temporary position available for a period of 12 months with the possibility of permanency.
