The Risk and Compliance (R&C) function has responsibility for the enabling the Group to manage the risks associated with their respective area of focus, in line with the Group's risk appetite. In that support, the R&C function will enable the success of the business by instilling a culture of risk management as a core part of how we support our customers and ensure that we have the appropriate processes and practices to meet our compliance obligations.
About the role
As Transformation Operational Risk Manger and reporting to Senior Risk Transformation Lead, you are responsible for key functions in relation to implementing and managing the risk and compliance frameworks across the Divisions of the Bank for Lending Transformation and other key change transformation activities impacting the Divisions. This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity.
**Key responsibilities include**:
Embedding the Operational Risk Framework for transformation activities by ensuring that all change RCSA's are completed
All appropriate designed Controls have been identified and captured in CURA and "go live" in time for all delivered risk and change issues
Work closely with the enterprise transformation team, Group Operational Risk, 1st Line of Defence Risk Team, Centres of Expertise and all divisions across the Bank to enhance the development of a strong risk and compliance culture
About you
To be successful you will have
Tertiary qualifications in Risk Management or Business-related fields highly desirable.
Operational Risk experience in Banking and Financial Services Industry (Line 1 or 2 risk roles) with demonstrated experience working within and supporting a transformation environment preferred
Sound understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks and / or banking's operations, products, policies and procedures highly regarded
Experience in continuous improvement methods and techniques
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Strong collaboration and relationship management skills enabling the delivery of desired outcomes
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple and complex tasks and meet deadlines
