Candlewood Medical Centre is an established and exceptionally busy Medical Practice.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our friendly Nursing Team in our privately owned Family Practice in Joondalup.
This role will involve providing high quality nursing care to our patients, working alongside our 13 GPs whilst maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
Days required are Mondays and Tuesdays plus leave cover.
THE ROLE
The Practice Nurse will be required to carry out normal RN/EN duties including, but not limited to:
* Cold Chain Management
* Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management
* Immunisations
* Wound Care and Assisting with minor procedures
* Ordering of Medical Supplies
* Infection Control
* The co‐coordination of patient recalls and reminders in collaboration with our GPs
* Sterilisation of Medical Equipment
* Iron Infusions
* Driver's Medicals and Work Medicals
* Occupational Medicals
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant medical and nursing standards, policies and procedures
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
The successful applicant must have the following skills and experience:
* A minimum of 2 years previous experience working in General Practice – desirable
* Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
* A working knowledge of Best Practice Software – desirable
* Must hold a current AHPRA Registration
* A current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance, (or the willingness to obtain)
* Current CPR Certificate
This position is a Permanent Part‐time role.
Salary will be negotiable depending on experience.
