Typical Project Officer Responsibilities:
* Support project planning, coordination, and delivery activities
* Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and registers
* Monitor project progress and contribute to status updates and reporting
* Assist with procurement, finance, and contract management processes
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support project outcomes
* Contribute to process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure compliance with government policies, frameworks, and governance requirements
What We Look For in Candidates:
* Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
* Experience providing administrative, operational, or project support within APS or a similar environment
* Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
* Sound judgement, attention to detail, and problem-solving capability
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and government systems such as Objective, SAP, or similar
