The Opportunity
ASG Equipment Group is looking for an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our growing Dubbo-based workshop team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding heavy mining and civil equipment, keeping our modern fleet in top condition.
From engines to final drives, diagnostics to full machine rebuilds, this role is suited to a fitter who has robust post-trade experience across CAT, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment and takes pride in quality workmanship.
For the right candidate, there’s potential to step into a Leading Hand role and take on additional responsibilities in the workshop.

- Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with significant post-trade experience
- Solid hands-on expertise with CAT, Hitachi and Komatsu machinery
- Proven ability to carry out diagnostics, repairs, and complete machine rebuilds
- A strong focus on safety, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach to working in a team
