Your Role as an Academic Personal Trainer (APT):
As an APT, you\'ll be more than just a tutor. You\'ll be a mentor, guiding students (Years P-12) in:
English and Maths (Primary and Secondary Levels) - We do not hire primary school only tutors.
Developing effective study strategies and building self-belief
Providing personalised support with homework, assignments, and exam preparation
Selected APTs also have the opportunity to join our School Programs – highly structured, curriculum-aligned tutoring roles delivered in partnership with leading schools.
As a School Program Academic Personal Trainer, you’ll:
Deliver structured group lessons with other APTs aligned with the Australian Curriculum
Support students academically and emotionally within the school setting
Reinforce key learning strategies using our STAR framework
Act as a mentor and role model to students who need guidance
Be part of a prestigious, purpose-driven program that creates lasting impact
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in tertiary education.
Completed Australian Curriculum high school education (essential for English and Primary tutoring).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence (you'll travel within a 30-minute radius).
Availability to commit to a minimum of six students (1.5-hour sessions) with flexible afternoon and evening availability.
