**Customer Account Manager**
Independent Timber Supplies are a leading supplier, designer, manufacturer and distributor of timber structural frames as well as structural and engineered timber products. We service a range of Project Builders, Custom Builders and Owner Builders in the Western Australian building market.
We are a family owned and operated business that has been trading since 1990 who value our people.
We require a sales expert to continue their career working out of our Rockingham office.
**About You**
You will be required to provide exceptional customer service to new and existing clients with your professional approach.
Experience with the Microsoft Office/365 software is required.
Your good work ethic is as important as your good sense of humour
**This role will be responsible for the following**:
- Maintaining relationships with an existing customer base
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Working to achieve & exceed monthly sales & margin targets
- Provide advice and support to our network of customers, whilst promoting our products and services
**To be successful in this role you will be required to have**:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience selling into the building industry within WA
- Previous new business development success
- Developed communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to learn about construction with an attention to detail
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Exceptional communication both written and oral
- Commitment to complete customer satisfaction
- Appropriate level of literacy in MS Outlook, Word & Excel
- A current and valid Driver's licence
It is advantageous if you have:
- timber or building industry experience
- trade, TAFE, university or similar qualifications
