ICT Training Lead Opportunity
**Your new role**
The ICT Training Lead will consult with Business Process Owners, Functional Support Analysts, users and vendors to prepare training content and packaging for execution of ICT training programmes.
This position will also be required to lead P&C; resources that are being assigned to provide the program with assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive framework for the delivery of high quality, targeted ICT training across the organisation.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis with the OLU to identify skills gaps between current and desirable skill levels within the business and make recommendations to management with respect to the most appropriate program of ICT training and awareness.
- Develop and implement training programs (course design, preparation and packaging) for ICT Solutions and associated Council business processes and procedures and supporting policy, guidelines and procedures.
- Manage the continuous development and maintenance of training materials including manuals, handouts and exercises/scenarios in liaison with Business, Functional Support Specialists and OLU.
- Undertake continuous review and analysis of end-user requests for service to determine common skills gaps and issues, and develop training plans, courses, and awareness initiatives to address identified gaps.
- Manage the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs in both a formal (e.g. classroom) and informal (e.g. one-on-one) setting.
- Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and learning outcomes with a view to continuous improvement of training content and course materials (online and physical)
**What you'll need to succeed**
- A tertiary qualification in information technology or information management and/or significant experience working in a senior ICT training role.
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or training delivery experience in IT environment would be highly regarded.
- Demonstrable experience in the design, development and packaging of quality training materials for ICT Solutions.
