About the Role
Our team is currently seeking a Portable Fire Technician to join our service team to look after our client base in Cairns and the surrounding Region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing of Fire Equipment in accordance with the Australian Standards along with Fire Equipment product sales across a diverse range of industries.
Your primary duties will include:-
· Maintenance and repair of portable fire protection equipment to Australian Standards
· Routine testing in accordance with Australian Standards to fire protection equipment
· Liaising with customers, promoting a professional and friendly relationship
· Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements
· Completing service records using smart device technology

About you?
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
· Fire industry experience would be highly regarded
· Current Driver’s Licence
· Strong focus and commitment to workplace safety
· Excellent customer service and time management
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
· Good personal presentation
· Willingness to multi-skill into other areas of fire protection
· Good computer/smart device technology skills
The successful candidate would be available to travel to regional surrounding areas from time to time.
