 
        
        The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for the day to day running of the buying department in adherence to the critical path, demonstrating effective time management and prioritisation skills to achieve deadlines. Needs to be a true team player and demonstrate accuracy in all admin work and will be the buying representative to manage all samples for meetings and within the department. 
Key Responsibilities 
- Assist with reporting and presentation materials for each post seasonal review 
- Enter sales orders for retail, online and wholesale 
- Ensure data in Buy Plan is accurate and prepare online Centric working buy file 
- Maintain all information relating to drop schedules and stock deliveries for National and International 
- Attend range meetings, keeping and updating information during the range building process 
- Arrange product workshop sessions for Retail and Online Teams to assist with feedback for each buy 
- Review and approve invoices and resolve discrepancies 
- Prepare and manage samples for buying meetings and reviews 
- Ensure Centric buy file is accurate at all times to reflect correct styles, suppliers, fabric, sizing, cost and status details 
- Update Centric and NetSuite on changes and add ins under guidance of assistant buyer
Skills and experience 
- Strong and clear communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with team, offshore suppliers and internal stakeholders effectively and proactively 
- Highly organised and able to meet deadlines 
- Attention to detail 
- Accurate record keeping 
- Understanding of product ranging and buying process 
- Report and analytical knowledge 
- Exceptional organisation skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and follow up with key stakeholders 
- Understanding and knowledge of Centric, NetSuite and Buy File 
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills essential including V lookups
