THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Gaming Cashier who has a bright, outgoing personality and exceptional customer service skills to ensure a high level of customer service is offered to our members and guests.
There are great opportunities to be crossed trained over various departments if that sparks your interest!
THE RESPONSIBILTIES
* Providing prompt, friendly, customer focused advice and assistance to members and guests on machine and loyalty system operation, including carrying out permitted minor repairs and machine maintenance.
* Provide food and beverage services to gaming patrons quickly and efficiently, ensuring there are minimal waiting times.
* Handle all cash and gaming associated transactions in an efficient manner, ensuring the security of cash and the privacy of member details at all times.
* Assist with clearances, hopper weights and meter reads as required.
* Maintaining a clean, organised environment free of any hazards.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 1-2 years of gaming experience.
* Minimum of 1 year bar experience.
* Current Qld RSA and RSG.
* Experience in TAB and Keno would be advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team.
* Initiative and ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with a range of different people.
* Trustworthy and reliable.
* High level of grooming and personal presentation standards.
* Reliability and the flexibility to work a variety of night and weekend shifts, which may include public holidays.
