As ClaimsCo (and our group of brands) continues to grow rapidly in a highly needed and valued advocacy space, we’re seeking an experienced In-House Solicitor to join our team on the Gold Coast or work remotely.

This role is available full-time, however flexible or part-time arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced solicitor to provide legal support across:
* Claims and complex insurance matters
* External and internal dispute resolution
* Contract management
* Regulatory compliance and legal risk
* QCAT and Magistrates Court experience viewed favourably
This will be our second in-house solicitor, offering the opportunity to support key business decisions, contribute to risk management, and help resolve complex, high-value insurance disputes. You’ll play a critical role in supporting our large loss clients, providing legal insight on technical disputes and coverage issues.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Advocating for clients with complex and large loss claims, including supporting disputes with insurers through Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR) processes.
* Providing legal guidance on coverage issues, claim disputes, and high-value matters.
* Supporting compliance with relevant industry regulations and professional standards.
* Managing disputes and working closely with internal stakeholders to reduce legal risk and support strong outcomes.
* Providing practical, commercially minded legal advice to support business growth and strategy.
* Working autonomously while collaborating with teams across the business.
What you need:
* Hold an Open Practising Certificate in QLD (preferred but not essential)
* Experience in insurance Claims, contract law, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to provide practical and timely legal advice.
* Confident working autonomously and with stakeholders across the business.
