Our client is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the team for an initial 6‑month contract, with potential to extend. This role will be instrumental in supporting strategic decision‑making, financial planning, and performance management across the business.
About The Role
You will lead internal and external reporting, oversee budgeting processes, analyse performance metrics, and provide actionable insights to drive operational improvements. You will partner closely with operational teams and key stakeholders to guide strategic initiatives, enhance business analysis capabilities, and lead continuous improvement efforts. The role will require occasional travel and is based in the organisation’s office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide modelling and cost‑benefit analysis to support business strategies
- Analyse operational performance and provide proactive advice to managers
- Build robust relationships with operational teams, understanding and exceeding their financial needs
- Monitor capex within budgets and organisational policies
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems
- Lead internal and external reporting, ensuring alignment with financial plans and strategic goals
- Assist with budgets and forecasts and oversee end‑to‑end budgeting processes for multiple divisions
- Deliver monthly reporting against operational KPIs
- Support business requirements through analysis, dashboards, and actionable insights
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting (CA | CPA | CIMA)
- Progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and performance management
- Proficient in ERP systems
- Experience with dashboarding tools (Power BI advantageous)
- Strong accounting skills, including budget, cost, and resource management
- Demonstrated ability to interpret financial data, perform variance analysis, and develop financial models
- Strategic thinker with practical problem‑solving skills
- Experience implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency
- Collaborative, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- High ethical standards and commitment to integrity and confidentiality
