Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Sales Director to shape and execute our sales strategy across our Commercial and Retail (Consumer) channels in Australia and New Zealand. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who is energised by opportunity, understands customer value and thrives on developing and empowering others through coaching and getting out in the market with the team. Curiosity is at the heart of this position, and you will be someone who instinctively asks the right questions, digs beneath the surface, and with an entrepreneurial spirit, transforms insights into opportunities. With diverse customer relationships including leading retailers, national corporations, regional fabricators and agricultural producers, the Sales Director will need to adapt daily to manage the relationships and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.


The role

* Own the sales strategy and deliver growth through a Value Sales methodology and a solution-selling approach
* Empower and develop an already high-performing and engaged team
* Manage P&L while driving accountability within the Sales team
* Align business growth strategies with supply chain, operations, and marketing
* Strengthen relationships with industry influencers and key decision-makers
* Represent GALE Pacific at trade shows, expos, and industry events
* Contribute to new product development and market expansion initiatives
* Enhance our current business development processes with CRM practices


The successful candidate should have

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Sales, or a related field
* Strong ability to identify revenue opportunities and drive growth
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach
* Highly motivated, adaptable, and results-oriented approach
* A natural curiosity
