About The Company
Our client is an independent, locally owned and operated Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Electrical business in Mackay. For almost 18 years, they have been offering and implementing climate control & electrical solutions for residential, commercial, and construction customers throughout Mackay and The Whitsundays. They specialise in all aspects of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and electrical work, including product supply, design, installation, repairs & maintenance.
They have a portfolio of air conditioning and electrical companies located in Newcastle and Hamilton Island with the potential to work across all of these locations IF you are interested. All locations have a fully operational service based commercial and domestic division, along with commercial and domestic installations and you will be placed in the relevant section based on your skills.
About The Opportunity
Due to business growth, our client is now looking to fill a range of positions including Mechanics, Service Technicians and Electricians with AC experience to service clients in Mackay.
About You
Depending on the role you are interested in some of the things we are looking for include:
* Previous experience as an Air Con Service Technician, Installer or Electrician
* ARCTICK Refrigerant Handling Licence
* Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
* Current drivers licence
* Great attitude and willingness to learn
You will also have:
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of pride in your work
* The ability to take direction and work under minimal supervision
