System Support Engineer Role
This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. As a System Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving technical issues that may impact system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and assess faults or failures in our systems.
* Monitor system performance and identify potential issues before they become major problems.
* Review client-initiated tickets and confirm required information has been provided.
* Triage client-initiated tickets and identify initial action required.
* Coordinate with other teams to ensure timely response and resolution of technical issues.
* Conduct initial review of logs downloaded for associated tickets.
* Monitor timing of responses to ensure adherence to key performance indicators.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in one of the above fields. Additionally, they should have good knowledge of railway signalling systems, software, and hardware. Experience with railway operations such as ERTMS/ETCS, CBTC, Interlocking, ATP Systems is highly desirable.
Other essential skills include knowledge of Australian Railway Safety standards, ability to interact with signalling subsystems across project teams, and significant experience in complex signalling design/multidisciplinary projects.
