 
        
        As the Communication Manager you will: 
Lead an effective, client-focused team and foster an equitable and ethical workplace based on best practice principles of management 
Develop solid relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to provide strategic communication advice and gain better insights to progress high level strategic communication strategies, campaigns and activities 
Develop, implement and oversee marketing and communications strategies and campaigns to support external communication covering the various portfolio areas of the department ranging from families, seniors, disability services, child safety, community services and domestic, family and sexual violence. 
Anticipate, identify and analyse initiatives, programs and projects, and lead the team to prepare appropriate communication materials ranging from graphic design, publications, campaigns to online content, to support the strategic objectives for the department. 
Identify opportunities for improved services and outcomes and generate creative and effective solutions in the delivery of integrated marketing communication campaigns and solutions. 
Develop the team's capabilities and skills to improve the outcomes and efficiencies within the team. 
Actively participate as a member of the Strategic Communication and Media Branch Leadership Team. 
Undertake communications or media-related activities as directed by the Director, Strategic Communication, or Executive Director, Strategic Communication and Media.
