Family Support Worker
As a skilled and compassionate Family Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families experiencing separation, high conflict and emotional stress.
This role involves:
* Providing assessment, counselling, psychoeducation, referrals, case management to parents
* Co-facilitating the Business of Parenting Groupwork
* Supporting children and families through referrals and case collaboration
You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others. As a Family Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other professionals to provide holistic support to individuals and families.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of Bachelor Level Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Behavioural Science from a recognised tertiary institution
* Eligible for membership with APS; AASW or PACFA
* Current Queensland Drivers Licence
* Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card)
* Willingsness to undergo a criminal history check
