Job Description
This is a key leadership position responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of solicitors within the corporate legal function. You will manage your own portfolio of commercial, non-litigated, and strategically significant litigated commercial matters, providing practical, solutions-focused legal advice that supports the strategic objectives and transformation agenda.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experienced people leader with the ability to manage, coach, and develop a high-performing legal team.
* Strong business acumen and sound judgment - supporting your team in managing workloads, while enabling the broader organisation to recognise when legal input is essential.
* Tertiary qualifications in Law, a current Victorian Practising Certificate, and admission as an Australian Lawyer.
* Substantial experience in commercial (non-litigious) law, with a strong track record of managing complex legal matters across both operational and strategic levels.
