Justice Delivery Specialist
The Justice Delivery Specialist is a key role that oversees the delivery of high-quality restorative justice services. This position requires leadership and supervision of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with relevant legislative provisions, strategic priorities, statutory delegations, departmental policies, procedures, contemporary best practice, and within a restorative justice framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide timely advice and assistance on complex matters to ensure the delivery of quality restorative justice practices.
* Develop collaborative, professional relationships with government agencies to ensure informed, integrated, and holistic youth justice service delivery.
* Actively participate in and lead local area forums with stakeholders, providing education and information on restorative justice conferencing services.
* Assist in identifying trends and issues in client service delivery and evaluating client outcomes, including performance reporting, to ensure coordinated local service delivery.
* Ensure appropriate workforce development, including undertaking relevant recruitment, selection, and providing ongoing professional development and culturally appropriate supervision and leadership to staff.
* Contribute to a culture that ensures sensitive and effective communication with people from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander backgrounds and an awareness of cultural protocols and historical policies and practices.
