Your new role
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation, with a strong focus on NDIS financial administration. This is a varied and rewarding position that combines technical accounting responsibilities with purpose-driven impact.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing NDIS claims and invoicing via the NDIS portal
* Monthly reconciliation of NDIS entitlements and variance reporting
* General ledger journal entries and end-of-month processes
* Credit card administration and receipt reconciliation
* Providing backup support for payroll and finance functions
* Assisting with insurance claims, audits, and statutory reporting

What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
* Certificate IV in Business or 5+ years' experience in a similar accounting role
* Proven experience in payroll and government grant administration
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
* A collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously
* Understanding of WHS obligations and NDIS compliance
* WWVP card with NDIS Worker Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable:
Knowledge of the NDIS and supported employment environments.
