About the role
Arbon bulk haulage is seeking an experienced, reliable Truck Driver (tippers) to join our team in Adelaide, SA. This is a full-time role that will see you transporting bulk materials across the local and regional road network. With a strong focus on safety and efficiency, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our business operations and meeting the needs of our valued customers.
What you'll be doing
* Safely operate heavy goods vehicles to transport bulk materials in tippers and walking floor trailers
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as internal safety policies and procedures
* Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Maintain accurate logs of journeys, work hours, and vehicle maintenance
* Liaise with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
* Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required
* Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
What we're looking for
* A valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver\'s licence
* 2+ years\' experience driving heavy goods vehicles in a commercial setting
* Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Good communication and customer service skills
* A proactive, safety-focused approach to your work
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
