Due to growth they are currently embarking on an exciting new project in North Sydney, a 55-level mixed-use development. Due to this landmark project been given the green light, They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to join the dynamic team and help deliver this prestigious project.As the Senior Site Manager you will be responsible for the overall delivery of this large scale mixed-use development.Your key responsibilities will include:Site Project Leadership and Team Management:Lead and manage the site-based construction team, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and motivation.Develop and implement site-specific safety plans to ensure a safe working environment.Coach and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their professional goals.Project Coordination and Programming:Monitor the progress of works against the current construction program, ensuring all trades are coordinating seamlessly.Develop and maintain a detailed construction schedule, including critical path analysis and resource allocation.Identify and manage potential delays, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain project timelines.Quality Assurance and Control:Oversee the quality of trade works to ensure the required standard is consistently achieved.Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.Implement quality control measures and ensure all work is completed to the highest standard.Communication and Documentation:Issue site instructions and other correspondence as required to trade contractors and consultants.Maintain accurate records of all site activities, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements and any potential issues.Client Relations and Stakeholder Management:Liaise with the Project Manager and Development Manager to maintain a long-standing and positive relationship.Act as the primary point of contact for all site-related matters, ensuring clear and timely communication.Coordinate with external stakeholders, including consultants, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to ensure smooth project delivery.Risk Management and Problem Solving:Identify and manage project risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.To excel in this role, you will need:Experience: 10+ years of experience as a Site Manager, with strong experience in large-scale mixed-use developments.Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction methodology, including building techniques, materials, and industry best practices.Program Management:Proven ability to manage and follow construction programs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project milestones.Project Value: Experience in managing mixed-use projects valued upwards of $100 million for a head contractor or a builder / developer.Communication Skills:Above-average verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.Motivation: A motivated and driven attitude, with a strong commitment to excellence and a results-oriented mindset.In return for your exceptional skills and experience, Our client offers:Above market Salary: An excellent salary package in the range of $300k - $400k plusCareer Growth: A career-enhancing role with long-term opportunities for advancement.Exciting Growth:The chance to be part of an exciting period of growth within the company.Professional Development: Opportunities for ongoing professional development and training.Work Environment: A dynamic and collaborative work environment, with a strong focus on teamwork and innovation.All applications will be treated in strict confidence.
