Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney's North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. Position
We are seeking a positive and collaborative Human Resources Coordinator to provide strong administrative support and enhance our operational effectiveness of the HR function. This is a permanent, full time all year round position. The hours are 8:00am-4:00pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
The Human Resources Coordinator will collaborate with the Director of People and Culture and the HR team to build and maintain efficient and robust HR practice and processes across the school. This role includes overseeing the employee lifecycle, managing recruitment processes, facilitating staff training, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. The Human Resources Coordinator will also lead or contribute to HR projects, support employee well-being and development, and help in evaluating and refining HR programs and practices to align with the school's strategic goals.
Qualifications
* A willingness to support the Guiding Principles of the School
* Minimum 3 years in a similar role
* High level of organisational ability, with attention to detail and the capability to manage and prioritise tasks efficiently.
* Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on creating positive and productive working relationships
* Familiarity with relevant employment laws, regulations and industry standards
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment
* Flexibility to handle diverse HR tasks and challenges as they arise
* Experience in school environment desirable, but not essential
