Job Title
A Project Manager is needed to oversee the delivery of high-quality construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer head contracts and subcontracts
* Negotiate and let subcontracts within budget
* Lead project teams through tender process and project delivery
* Develop construction methodologies to win tenders
* Create comprehensive project programs and communicate them to teams
* Identify and manage construction risks throughout all projects, escalating issues when necessary
* Manage project expenditure and cash flow
* Develop thorough project completion plans
* Manage defect identification and rectification
* Provide coaching and guidance to project teams
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years' experience in delivering projects from start to finish with a fit-out contractor or builder
* Proven leadership ability in building and motivating teams
* Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements/standards
* Strong project financial reporting skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Well-developed interpersonal skills
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite
