**THE OPPORTUNITY**
An exciting full-time opportunity has become available for an experienced Category Manger to join our collaborative national team. Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, the position is critical to the growth and development of our retail business and forms an integral part of our growing national and international company.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Regular range reviews to ensure that the product offer is always up to date and relevant
- Supporting of national promotional programmes
- Working with the National Store Development Manager in the implementation of strategies and standards across the store network
- Developing working relationships with national and local suppliers
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
**ABOUT YOU**
- Excellent personal presentation
- A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
- Dynamic communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- An eye for detail whilst working in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to coach and develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, multiple stores and other internal stakeholders
- Experience within a multi-site retail environment
- Demonstrable merchandising skills of the highest standard
- Previous experience as a Category Manager/Buyer or a similar skilled retail role is essential
