Accounting Professional Wanted
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our finance team.
* Deliver accurate and timely financial and management reporting.
* Partner with stakeholders across the business to drive continuous improvement and support organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare monthly financial reports.
2. Complete account reconciliations and provide accurate month-end reporting packs.
3. Oversee compliance with BAS, FBT, payroll tax, and other statutory obligations.
4. Provide cost accounting and variance analysis, including inventory management and product profitability reviews.
5. Assist with cash flow management, treasury, and foreign exchange reporting.
6. Support budgeting processes and business forecasting activities.
7. Work closely with operational teams to enhance understanding of financial performance, cost drivers, and pricing strategies.
8. Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of ERP systems.
9. Engage with external stakeholders to support audit and taxation requirements.
10. Champion business process improvements and support the delivery of finance-related projects.
What We're Looking For:
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting.
* CPA or CA qualified (or working towards).
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory processes.
* Experience with ERP systems (implementation or use).
* High-level Microsoft Excel skills and sound analytical capability.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills – able to engage confidently across all levels of the business.
* A continuous improvement mindset and a hands-on, proactive approach.
