The role

* Part Time (28 hours per week), Continuing
* Level 7 - $81,136 to $88,655 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
* Bathurst, Port Macquarie or Wagga Wagga

As the Intake and Triage Counsellor, you will deliver counselling to students across face-to-face, phone, and online sessions, supporting their wellbeing, resilience, and sense of belonging throughout their university journey. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen student support programs and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging campus environment.

About you

* Qualified professional with a psychology or social work degree and registration (AHPRA/AASW), backed by substantial applied experience.
* Inclusive practitioner who understands the diverse needs of students within the contemporary tertiary education sector.
* Proficient in administration and record‑keeping, with confident use of technology and systems
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The appointment is conditional upon the successful applicant producing, satisfying and maintaining a "Working with Children Check", in accordance with the Commission for Children and Young People Act (NSW).
