Urgent Care Nurse Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Urgent Care Registered Nurse to join our team in Bundaberg. As a vital member of our healthcare service, you will be responsible for ensuring all patients who present to the Urgent Care Service are identified as being appropriate for the service, triaged promptly and provided with frontline care in collaboration with the Urgent Care medical practitioner.

About the Role:
* Responsibilities include:
* Triage of all patients who present to Urgent Care
* Conducting comprehensive and accurate nursing triage
* Acting promptly for any triaged patients requiring emergency escalation or due to deterioration
* Performing procedural work such as suturing and plastering
* Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability for the dynamic Urgent Care environment
* Delivering high-quality, person-centered care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners
* Ensuring patients achieve desired clinical outcomes
* Providing essential health education to patients
* Completing all documentation accurately and promptly
Requirements:
* AHPRA Registered Nurse
* Availability to work evenings and weekends
* Ability to provide a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
* Previous experience in triage within an emergency department, remote nursing, or ICU is preferred, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care settings
