Salary: LB $114,751 – $136,143 + up to 17% superannuation

The Opportunity
In this role you will shape future nutrition and dietetics professionals by supervising, training, assessing and supporting students in professional placements. You will manage clients at our Nutrition and Dietetic clinics, collaborate with placement partners, professional bodies and the community, and work closely with discipline staff to deliver high‐quality learning experiences. You will also contribute to teaching, clinical education, quality improvement initiatives and broader School and University activities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, assess and support students during professional placements.
- Manage clients attending Nutrition and Dietetic clinics.
- Collaborate with placement partners, professional bodies and the community.
- Work with discipline staff to provide high‐quality learning experiences.
- Contribute to teaching, clinical education and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in broader School and University activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Completion or near completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent accreditation and standing, or a minimum of ten years clinical experience as an accredited professional in the field of study.
- Accredited Practising Dietitian status recognised by Dietitians Australia.
- Effective teaching evidenced by student feedback, peer review and/or student outcomes across various placement formats (simulated, telehealth, external and internal).
- Capacity to conceive, develop and deliver higher education curricula.
- Experience managing the nutrition care process for individual clients/patients.
- Leadership experience in delivering high‐quality clinical education to undergraduate students.
- Membership in, and strong connections with, relevant skilled bodies, community groups or professional associations.
