We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Food Technologist to join our talented team in Ingleburn. Reporting to the Innovation Manager, you'll play a key role in developing new products, enhancing existing ones, and driving continuous improvement—all while upholding our high standards for food safety, quality, and innovation.
About the Role
* Develop strategic direction for innovation and new product development in partnership with Marketing
* Lead new product development (NPD) from concept through to commercialisation
* Create detailed product briefs, develop lab-scale samples, coordinate production line trials, and provide technical support to the Production Team
* Ensure all developed products meet cost and quality targets
* Identify and deliver cost optimisation opportunities
* Prepare Nutrition Information Panels (NIP), allergen information, and ingredient declarations
* Review and approve product artwork for compliance and accuracy
Do you have what it takes?
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the food industry
* A Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or a related field
* A strong creative flair and a passion for innovation
* A hands-on, energetic approach with excellent organisational and multitasking skills
* Solid understanding of QA systems and food safety standards
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and sound general computer proficiency
* Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal
* High attention to detail and accuracy
