We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our Wellness & Social Support team at Better Health Network. In this role, you’ll support older community members to participate in engaging group programs and activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social connection.
You’ll be the friendly face they look forward to seeing each week - helping with activities, personal care, and transport, and making sure every client feels safe, included and valued.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting clients to engage in programs and activities safely and inclusively.
* Assisting with planning and running group activities, including crafts, recreation and socialisation.
* Providing personal care such as meal and toileting assistance.
* Transporting clients to and from programs in BHN vehicles.
* Preparing and serving light meals and refreshments.
* Documenting attendance, observations and reporting incidents as needed.
* Collaborating with your team and communicating with clients’ families and carers.
What You’ll Bring
* Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent.
* Experience working in aged care, community health, or similar settings.
* Confidence to drive an 11-seater bus (current Victorian Driver’s Licence essential) – training provided.
* Physical capacity for tasks involved in client care and program facilitation.
* Excellent communication skills with a genuine commitment to client wellbeing.
* Flexibility, teamwork and a proactive attitude.
