About the role:
We're looking for an experienced Lead Cyber Advisor to join a high-performing cyber security team supporting a complex enterprise environment. This role sits within a fast-paced cyber engagement function and focuses on governance, risk and compliance across cloud, legacy and software platforms.
You'll play a key role in conducting security risk assessments, advising on secure system design, and presenting clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct security risk assessments for systems and applications within a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) framework
* Assess environments across Azure Cloud, legacy ICT systems, SaaS and desktop applications
* Review and provide guidance on application and system designs in line with PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight
* Liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate cyber risks and recommendations
* Present risk assessments and findings confidently to senior executive audiences
* Identify opportunities to uplift the overall security posture of the organisation
About you:
* Minimum 5 years' experience conducting cyber security risk assessments in a GRC role
* Strong working knowledge of PSPF, ISM and the Essential Eight
* Experience assessing cloud, legacy and vendor-supplied software solutions
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
