A fire protection company is seeking a key leader to establish and manage the new branch in Victoria. As a leading member of the team, you will be responsible for setting up daily operations, building a high-performing team, and delivering service contracts across wet and dry fire services.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Leadership
o Establish and manage daily operations of the new VIC branch by implementing effective systems and processes.
o Develop a high-performing wet & dry fire team as the branch scales by providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth.
o Set up systems, processes, and culture aligned with NSW/QLD operations by ensuring seamless integration and efficient workflow.
* Wet & Dry Fire Service Management
o Lead and deliver service contracts, maintenance schedules, inspections, and testing across:
+ Dry Fire: fire detection, fire alarms, EWIS, occupant warning systems, smoke control.
+ Wet Fire: sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, pumps, tanks.
o Provide technical support and troubleshooting for field teams at a T2/T3 level, ensuring all works meet relevant Australian Standards and compliance requirements.
* Business Development & Client Engagement
o Maintain strong relationships with clients across residential, commercial, construction, and industrial sectors, acting as the main point of contact.
o Pursue new service and project opportunities through industry networks and strategic partnerships.
o Support tendering, quoting, pricing, and proposal development to ensure successful business outcomes.
* Project Oversight (as Vic team grows)
o Support project delivery, working with Project Managers on wet & dry fire projects from $100k–$2M, ensuring seamless coordination between service and projects.
* People Leadership
o Recruit, train, mentor, and manage technicians across wet and dry fire, focusing on building a cohesive, high-performing team culture based on accountability and growth.
o Drive performance, workforce planning, and professional development as the branch expands, prioritizing the success of the team and organization.
