About the Role
As a Staff Specialist/Visiting Medical Officer, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of medical services. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes and support succession planning in Nephrology.
The Ideal Candidate
* Must be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist, and/or overseas-trained specialist via the appropriate International Medical Graduate pathway.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through the use of information technology and written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to lead a team and provide leadership.
* Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research, and quality improvement.

Bathurst Health Service is a Level 4, 120-bed acute hospital that serves a rapidly growing catchment population. The facility is undergoing a redevelopment to bring new and expanded services into the region.
