Large Federal Government Department Seeking Site Security Observers for Overseas Projects
Your new company
Our client is a large, high-profile Federal Government Department who are at the forefront of promoting and protecting Australia's international interests. They are seeking a Site Security Observer from February 2026 to oversee and observe construction workers and others on site on projects overseas.
Your new role
* Monitor and observe personnel within designated worksite areas.
* Ensure strict adherence to the Construction Security Plan (CSP).
* Inspect and audit materials brought onto site, reporting and containing any suspicious items.
* Operate and manage technical security equipment on site.
* Identify and report suspicious behaviour or security breaches.
What you'll need to succeed
* Relevant WHS and construction experience, particularly in site safety and risk management in overseas or high-security environments.
* Proven ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team.
* Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift equipment up to 30kg.
* Competence in using basic hand and power tools.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a focus on operational outcomes.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* High standards in observation, reporting, and documentation.
* Experience operating CCTV and alarm systems.
* Exceptional communication across all organisational levels.
* Ability to travel overseas
* You must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance.

* Asbestos Awareness
* Crystalline Silica exposure Prevention
